With IMMUTO, from the Latin I transform, Francesca Lando creates immersive installations and layered sensory narratives that explore human connections.
Through interdisciplinary collaborations, she weaves together art, science and embodied forms of knowledge to create spaces where body, intellect and imagination meet.
Her work investigates the relationship between perception, matter and thought, seeking the simplicity within complexity and beauty as a moment of coherence and resonance.
Each project translates plural and interconnected ideas into the immediacy of experience, opening new possibilities for understanding and inviting participants to perceive how everything is connected: the self, the other, the world.
Lando’s practice is grounded in conceptual research, dialogue across disciplines, and a deep attention to the audience’s experience as an active and transformative part of the work.
Her installations have been presented in Italy, Finland and the United Kingdom, with the support of institutions such as the Finnish Institute in London, Queen Mary University of London, the Italian Cultural Institute in Helsinki, Art Fair Suomi, Spazio Leonardo and UNA Gallery.
